Dr. Hao Tang earned his bachelor's degree in New Energy Science and Engineering from Chongqing University in China in 2015. Subsequently, he completed his master's degree in Thermal and Power Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, also in China, in 2018. In the fall of 2018, Hao Tang embarked on his Ph.D. journey at KAUST in Saudi Arabia, under the guidance of Professor Gaetano Magnotti. In March 2023, he transitioned to a Postdoctoral Researcher position at Georgia Tech, under the supervision by Professors Wenting Sun and Adam Steinberg. His research interests are centered on the development of advanced laser diagnostics for turbulent combustion and the investigation of turbulence chemistry interaction in turbulent flames.
